Dragon marks the last month of Spring and is a Yang Earth element with hidden stems of Yang Earth, Yin Wood, and Yin Water. The Dragon is the 5th of the 12 Chinese zodiac characters and is always associated with the West and the month of April. It is the most vital and powerful animal of the zodiac and also the only mythical animal. It is associated with world leaders, dominance, and ambition. Considering what’s happening on the world stage, it’s likely safe to say that world leaders will be holding our attention this month. The Wood and Water of the year are repeated in the hidden elements of Tiger, but the excess water and damp, immovable Earth can make the roots of the tree soggy and deter the growth of Wood. This could indicate a slowing/bogging down of the economy. Since Dragon doesn’t favor anyone specifically, there are no special assists this month.
