The Month of the Yin Metal Rabbit (Mar 5 - Apr 4) depicts late Spring on the Chinese calendar. Spring is when the wood element is as its highest level. Yin Metal symbolizes, among others, swords, knives or other sharp objects. Yin Wood (Element of the Rabbit) represents not only the younger generation but also the neck, spine etc. Metal dominates wood, so it will “cut” the wood of the Rabbit, along with it's hidden element of wood. This domination is referred to as a clash. A clash can cause change, sometimes in a violent way. Change can also come in the form of transformation. No matter what, change always has an element of discomfort. There is also Yin Metal in the year, so there’s a fair amount of metal pitted against the wood of the Rabbit month this year. Caution should be exercised in travel and doing anything that’s physically risky this month. Use this month to go inward or to deepen your knowledge base.
If you have Yang Water or Yin Water in your Day or Year Pillar Heavenly Stem, this is your Nobleman month. A nobleman, or helpful person, will be available to you when you are in need. All you need to do is reach out/look for them.
If you have the Tiger, Horse or Dog in the Earthly Branch of your Day or Year Pillar, this is your Peach Blossom or Flower of Romance month. Your relationships will blossom this month if you put in the effort. If it’s in your Day Pillar, this will relate more to your personal or intimate relationships. If it is in your Year Pillar, it will relate more to your network/friends.
Dog in your Day Master/Pillar is also a “combine” or “clash” so this could be an uncomfortable month for those with Dog in the Day Master.
