November - Month of The Metal Pig

Month of Xin Hai 辛亥, Yin Metal Pig

Pig is the 12th animal of the Chinese Zodiac and the 10th month of the Chinese Year. The Pig heralds the beginning of winter with its watery element.

The Pig is a benevolent and revered animal in Chinese culture and the Metal of this month enhances the Pig’s water element. The Pig is committed to the betterment of humanity and stands for fairness, justice, truth and community building. Pig loathes falsehood, hypocrisy and mistreatment or victimization of others. Pig is also a peacemaker and an excellent mediator of dissonant factions. Of the five Pig types, Metal Pig is the most dynamic and energized and it promotes kindness and understanding between people of different beliefs. With elections this month, what better way to act on the higher principles of the Pig!

Additionally, the Pig month in a “triple Tiger” year forms a Six Combination that’s very powerful. The Pig and Tiger work together to promote positive change and closer bonds. Thanksgiving is a time for gatherings…friends and family…and this year you’ll feel that energy even more in the Metal Pig. The benevolent influence of Metal Pig couldn’t have come at a better time, with so much global and domestic discord.

If you have Snake in your chart, this will be a Clash month for you. it is also a clash month if you have Yin Wood in one of your pillar stems. This can be transformational as you encounter obstacles that may redirect or provide life lessons. learn to maneuver these with grace and be prepared to pivot when needed. This will affect different aspects of your life, depending upon which Pillar it appears.

If you have Tiger in your chart, Pig will Combine to support positive change and intercede where there may be dissonance. If you have Yang Fire in one of your stems, this will also Combine with this month’s Yin Metal.

If you have Pig in your chart, this will be a Self Penalty month, which means that you may suffer self-doubt and self-sabotage. Be mindful of this in order to work around it. Of the two, self-sabotage is of the most concern, because you can literally scuttle opportunities. So stay on top of your game and don’t allow yourself to become lazy.

If you have Yang Fire or Yin Fire in your chart or were born in years ending with a 6 or 7, this is your Nobleman month…which is an opportune time to embark on a new venture or re-cast/reinvent yourself. There will be opportunities. Others will be receptive and even helpful.
