2022 Flying Stars

Xuan Kong Flying Stars

Here’s a sneak peek and the Xuan Kong Flying Stars for the Year of the Water Tiger. This is a GLOBAL look at the energy that will enter in its fullest nature at the beginning of the Chinese Solar Year on Feb 4, 2022. This year the Flying Stars come home to their native Palaces. What this means is that they will be fully supported by the element of the Palace they occupy…whether for good or ill. They will also have a stronger effect on the Natal Chart Stars of every building.

THE FOUR ANNUAL AFFLICTIONS: do not activate these areas with construction (inside or outside) or digging. Keep them tidy, quiet, and uncluttered. If you must undergo construction, contact a professional Feng Shui consultant for remedial advice.

  • Center Palace: This is the “ruling” energy of the year. This year, the Misfortune Star is the overall ruling energy with potential for severe illness and other misfortune. In most cases moving metal will be necessary to help mitigate that energy,

  • Northeast Palace: The Tai Sui/Grand Duke occupies the NE3 sector this year. Facing this direction will annoy the Grand Duke but sitting with your back to this direction would be supportive. The annual and benevolent 8 White Wealth star also occupies this Palace in 2022, which makes it a lovely place to spend time, particularly if it’s where you generate or manage your wealth. Just do it quietly, and avoid creating clutter.

  • Southwest Palace: The Sui Po, also known as the Year Breaker, occupies the SW3 sector this year. Activating this Palace has a ripple effect in that it offends the Grand Duke as well. Additionally, the 2 Black Illness Star comes home. Remediation for the Illness Star depends on the Natal Chart of your space. But avoiding this area would be the first line of defense to avoid activating it.

  • North Palace: The San Sha, also known as the Three Killings, occupies this Palace this year. A plant can help mitigate the San Sha, which will also mitigate the good energy of the Annual 1 White Star that supports reputation and authority. So, generally speaking, without the benefit of a personalized chart to decide which would be most beneficial, simply avoid activating the San Sha.

West Palace: The 7 Red Violence Star has potential for accidents by metal and other security issues. Be mindful of this and don’t activate or spend time this Palace. Depending on the Natal Chart of your building, you can mitigate the potential here with either Fire or Water. But if you don’t have a personalized Feng Shui reading it’s not advisable to do anything other than stay away from this area. If your front door is located here, it’s advisable to get your Feng Shui reading so you can be advised appropriately.

East Palace: The 3 Jade Star has potential for arguments, but it is also known as the “courage” star. If you are someone who could use a little extra courage this year, use this area when you’re doing business or planning. It will give you a little extra boost of confidence. But avoid getting into conversations that could possibly become argumentative. Also be careful about the activities you conduct here as there’s potential for lawsuits.

Southeast Palace: The 4 Green Star of creativity, academics, and relationships comes home to the Southeast this year. Even though this Star is considered obsolete this Era, it still has some potential and with double the energy, it can certainly be supportive. If your bedroom is located in this area and you’ve been contemplating procreating, the 4 Star can support that. This is also a good place for studying/learning, writing, and other creative endeavors.

Northwest Palace: The 6 White Career Star has the potential to support you in your career. If your work area is located here, you’ll feel fully supported here.

South Palace: The expansive 9 Purple Star will support your growth this year, particularly your spiritual growth. It’s also known as the Star of Celebration. This is an area where you can feel supported in your personal growth if your Natal Stars support it.

Wishing you a happy, healthy, and abundant 2022! More to come about what to expect in the Year of the Yin Water Tiger!
